Should I Be Wearing A Sports Bra To Bed?

We’ve heard about the potential damage we could be doing to our breasts by wearing a wired bra in bed, but what about a bralette or a wire free sports bra?
For women with larger cup sizes, sleeping in a bra can often feel more comfortable, secure, and aid better sleep.
So far, there isn’t any research that suggests wearing a bra at night will help to reduce sagging – one of the main reasons why a lot of women opt to wear one.
However, some experts have suggested that wearing a sports bra (or any bra) to bed can help to prevent stretch marks for women with larger breasts.
But if you do opt to wear a sports bra, it’s important to remember a few rules:

  1. Don’t wear the same bra two nights in a row.
  2. Don’t wear the same bra you wear to work out in.
  3. Make sure it fits properly, and isn’t too tight.
  4. If you’re left with any pinch marks, rashes or discomfort after wearing one – stop.

To be on the safe, we suggest wearing a wire-free bralettes or a soft cup style instead of a sports bra.
