Check out our simple top tips for natural, glowing skin!
Wear sunscreen all year round
Even if the sun’s not actively shining and it’s a cloudy day – the sun is still there, and those rays are coming into contact with your skin whenever you’re outside.
The sun is responsible for the majority of skin wrinkles and blemishes – so investing in a a moisturiser with at least SPF20 is the best thing you can do to keep your skin healthy and young looking.
Get enough sleep – If you’re not getting enough sleep, you’ll suffer from lower circulation and your skin will tend to look pale and washed out. In addition, when you’re sleeping your body works on renewing its cells – so you want to give it as much as you can!
Clean your makeup brushes
It’s recommended you wash foundation brushes once a week, and any eye or cheek brushes every 2-3 weeks, in order to rinse off all the bacteria that gets clogged up inside them. This will help your makeup go on much better, and stop you spreading dirt all over your face!
Exfoliate 2-3 times a week
Exfoliating will get rid of any dead cells or dirt trapped in your pores, and leave you with a fresh layer of new, bright looking skin! Be sure to be gentle, and moisturise afterwards.
Use natural products
Most of the products we buy are filled with unwanted chemicals that we really don’t know much about. There are so many natural skincare and makeup brands on the market today that use all natural products, which will work wonders for your complexion.
Why not try something new?
Drink plenty of water
Water prevents dehydration – which can cause premature ageing. It also helps clear the toxins that cause inflammation and blemishes on your skin.
You should be aiming for 8 glasses of water each day – more if you live an active lifestyle or are living in a hot or humid climate.
